ARTIGIANO is the Organic Way laboratory where certified wood furniture and communication materials are meticulously crafted locally, dedicated to enhancing beauty in places worldwide. It serves as the organic expression of a project that begins with the product and extends to a lifestyle, showcasing our dedication to green chemistry, sustainable habits, and the realm of interior design.

Artigiano was founded with a clear objective: to craft not only unique pieces of furniture but also specialized packaging, exhibition, and communication materials, all with a multifunctional, reusable, sustainable, and elegant design. In the realm of Artigiano, every piece of furniture and design support is meticulously crafted from FSC certified wood, infusing a distinct visual impact in the salon. The use of natural components, eye-relaxing colors, and tactilely pleasing textures creates an ambiance like no other.

Inside Artigiano, everything takes on the form of a one-of-a-kind item, crafted to elevate the identity and originality of your center. Conceived and designed in the Oway in-house creative office, all Artigiano products and its MODULO furniture line are born in our zero-mile wood workshop. They are crafted with care, poised to enrich places of beauty and daily life by offering sustainable and completely customizable alternatives to conventional objects and furnishings.

The Merits of Circular Design

In perfect alignment with the overarching principles of the entire Oway experience, Artigiano was conceived to safeguard the abundant capital bestowed upon us by nature, aiming to minimize waste and progress towards tangible sustainability.

The foundation of Circular Design is integral to every creative endeavor of ours. This commitment extends beyond furniture; for OWN WAY, our Eau de Parfum, we’ve crafted minimalist, eco-friendly, and enduring boxes, conceived and manufactured within our zero-mile wood workshop. Utilizing materials sourced from recovered wood—natural and 100% recycled—we’ve fashioned various types of packaging designed for reuse, extending their lifespan and utility.

The woods featured in our wood workshop and the MODULO furniture line have earned FSC certification, an international organization promoting responsible forest and plantation management by defining standards for good and sustainable practices.

Spazio

For Owayans, Spazio is more than just a physical location; it’s a realm of profound emotions. It stands as a unique junction, drawing together individuals from around the globe—professionals, collaborators, partners, technicians, and trainers—united by a shared curiosity to delve into and understand the Organic Way of life.

Spazio serves as a Showroom, an exhibition showcasing all the integral facets of Oway, from its core values to representative products. It’s a narrative space, inviting exploration through the senses—offering the chance to touch, see, smell, and experience what we do. It functions as an Academy, a hub for learning Oway’s secrets, absorbing them, and then transmitting them with the expertise and confidence of firsthand experience.

Beyond this, Spazio is where the essence of the Oway world is inhaled. It allows one to envision strolling through Ortofficina, capturing the scents of medicinal plants, reconnecting with nature, undergoing a beauty treatment, or attending an international live show.

In essence, Spazio is a truly unique and significant, dynamic, and living space. It’s an expansive and inclusive environment with an international reach, housing various microcosms where wood, glass, and plants reign supreme—the fundamental and defining pillars of Oway Agricosmetics.

The Agricosmetics Movie Unfolding On the Big Screen

Understanding Oway’s approach and the distinctive properties of its precious plant-active ingredients involves direct contact with biodynamics. While visits to the Ortofficina farm estate on the Bologna hills are available throughout the year, they become less frequent during the colder, sparser months due to reduced flowering and adverse weather conditions.

To ensure that no one misses the chance to explore the principles and methods of biodynamic agriculture where our production cycle begins, we’ve brought Ortofficina to the grand screen of the Oway cinema. This cinema room is designed to immerse you in the ambiance of fields, allowing you to sense their fragrances, encounter the donkeys contributing to fertile land, and learn about the history, characteristics, and uses of our medicinal plants—sown and harvested with respect to seasons, moon influences, and cultivated without the use of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers.

But there’s more: after the immersive tour, the next scene unfolds the process of steam distillation. The star of the Oway Agricosmetics film is the zero-mile extraction of aromatic herbs, free from synthetic solvents, which separates into essential oils and hydrolats—transforming into the active ingredients of our formulas.

Home-Sized Learning Spaces

The educational realm of Oway is composed of customized thematic journeys tailored to meet the requirements of beauty professionals, immersing them in the values of circular Agricosmetics. Our classrooms are authentic plastic-free homes, functional and ecological spaces, perfectly suited for hosting various Oway training formats. These formats range from introductory events and focused insights to refresher sessions and interactive workshops.

In every instance, the training of collaborators takes a central role, aiming for not only more effective results but also fostering a correct approach towards the products throughout the entire team.

The Eco-Beauty Salon Experience

After mastering the theory, nothing beats a hands-on experience.

In Spazio, participants in our academic courses get the chance to immerse themselves in the practical application of Oway’s extensive range of treatments for hair, scalp, and skin. What makes this experience unique is the setting—completely surrounded by a space that embodies the circular design values of the brand. Craftsmanship, sustainability, and modularity are the principles that impart a distinctive and recognizable touch to each environment.

Built on these principles, we’ve established an authentic plastic-free salon, equipped with all the essential tools for practical training. Personalized with furnishings from our zero-mile wood laboratory, Artigiano’s Modulo line, this eco-salon serves as a hub for sharing techniques, field experiences, suggestions, and results. It’s not just a space for creating cuts, styles, and colors; it’s a showcase of the perfect balance between fashion and well-being.

The catwalk at Spazio becomes a canvas for unveiling our product innovations and the models who embody them, becoming interpreters and protagonists of a highly representative world. Beyond that, we discuss ongoing plastic-free initiatives, recap the pivotal moments of the year, and share vivid experiences of the Oway lifestyle. It’s a space for meeting and exchanging emotions with Owayans from over 70 countries around the world.
